The Tenancy Tribunal is supposed to be the last resort for a Property Manager not the first port of call when there is a problem. However, some managers appear to consider the Tribunal and the Courts as their main resource to sort out problems and even spend inordinate amounts of time training their staff in these processes.

Property location is important to tenants who look to rent in certain areas for specific reasons just as you do when looking to purchase a home. It could be that friends or relatives are nearby or just that the amenities offered in the area suit their lifestyle.
